Shipping Subsidy Application

This form is for non-US artists who have had artwork accepted into an approved PNWQFAM exhibition (such as the annual Festival) and wish to have their RETURN shipping from Washington state partially subsidized.

  • Artists are eligible for one subsidy payment only.  We try to consolidate returns to one container to maximize this amount.
  • Application must be made prior to entry being returned.
  • PNWQFAM will pay for return shipping costs over and above the average $30 USD cost that US members incur (to a maximum of $70 USD).
  • PNWQFAM will pay for return shipping costs above $30 only.
  • PNWQFAM will pay a maximum of $70 toward return shipping.
  • The return shipping cost is calculated at the time of return shipment.
  • Artists are responsible for initial outbound shipping to the Museum, insurance, duties, customs fees, the initial $30 of return shipping and any additional return shipping costs that go above $100 total.

For Example:
  • Return shipping is $30 (or less). Artist will be billed the cost of shipping.
  • Return shipping is $80. Artist will be billed $30 and the Museum will pay the remaining $50.
  • Return shipping is $100. Artist will be billed $30 and the Museum will pay the remaining $70.
  • Return shipping is above $100, i.e. $120. Artist will be billed $50 and the Museum will pay the remaining $70.
  • Artists will be billed through PayPal or Square. Artists do NOT need to have a PayPal account.

Please Note: The funding for this subsidy is a restricted Museum fund that is limited in supply. Applying for this subsidy is not a guarantee that you will receive funding. You will receive an email confirming your subsidy eligibility at the time of your form submission. Although, we cannot provide an accurate shipping cost until the time of return shipment, so artists who receive eligibility should expect to pay the minimum $30 for return shipping until further notified.

The Pacific Northwest Quilt & Fiber Arts Museum is located on the land of the Coast Salish peoples, specifically the Swinomish Indian Tribal Community. Many Indigenous peoples thrive here — alive and strong.
With gratitude, we honor their stewardship of these lands since time immemorial to the present day.
This land acknowledgement does not take the place of authentic relationships with indigenous communities.
We also aim to highlight the major artistic contributions made by indigenous Pacific Northwest artists to the history of weaving and textile arts through exhibits and public programs.
