Andie Solar
My name is Andie Solar and I'm a fiber artist born and raised in Slovakia, currently living in Seattle, WA. I specialize in punch needle and rug tufting because I LOVE TEXTURE! What started as fun transitioned into a full time business and it's all because of you, so thank you, from the bottom of my heart. When I first saw punch needle rug hooking video I was instantly hooked (pun intended)! I researched and researched and looked for the supplies which proved to be difficult. I wanted to learn, but none of the kits available (VERY few) spoke to me. So I made my own and I haven't stopped since 2017. When I'm not thinking about new kit ideas I'm creating my own art pieces for home with one main ingredient - coziness. |
Let’s learn the art of punch needle together! This adorable lemon punch needle kit will look adorable in your home. In the class you will learn all the basics as well as troubleshooting. You will love how relaxing it is and you’ll be making full sized rugs in no time!
A kit will be provided for a fee of $50 (required). It will include stretched fabric on the frame, yarn, punch needle and the design. Scissors, etc. will be provided for use in workshop.
Workshop Fee: $30 Member/$35 Nonmember PLUS Kit Fee: $50

We are saddened to announce that Cookie's workshop and lectures for the Festival have been cancelled. Her home is directly in the path of Hurricane Ian as it heads for South Carolina.
