In Loving Memory...
It is with deep sadness that we share that our colleague and friend, Jenny Walker, the Museum's Curator and Membership Manager, passed away yesterday morning, May 2. The past few months had been painful and traumatic for her so we are grateful she is now at peace and pain-free. Jenny had a deep love for the Museum and for the work that she did here, which she did with creativity and vision. We all miss her very much. Our condolences for her loss go out to her family and friends.
Funeral service for Jenny will be Monday, May 16, 11am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 3720 H Ave, Anacortes, WA 98221, with a viewing at 10am. A small graveside service will be held at 2pm at Acacia Memorial Park, 14951 Bothell Way NE, Lake Forest Park, WA. All are welcome. The Museum has established a fund in memory of Jenny. The donations received will go to support the curatorial and exhibition needs of the Museum in honor of Jenny. You can donate to the fund by using the button below. |
